A new era for the Bulldogs
The North Heidelberg Sporting Club continues our Women’s Football open-age team for the 2024 season. We are dedicated to building the future of inclusivity within our club and making football an enjoyable sport for young women who aspire to play.
Shannon Bevis and Phillip Maher are heading our senior women’s coaches once again this season. Shannon and Phillip have both played integral roles in the Girls’ junior age program at Bundoora Park and Research Football Club. Their appointment as senior and assistant coaches, respectively, is a natural progression in their coaching journey.
We strive to actively engage the community with strong female representation across all sporting codes. With five netball teams already in place, we are pleased to develop the women’s football program further in 2024.
We believe in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where young women can flourish and develop their skills in football. By embracing the power of women’s football, we aim to create a bright future for the sport and provide opportunities for aspiring female athletes to thrive.
